A superb Saracione Mark V Gear and Pawl salmon reel, 4 1/4" diameter and set up for LHW. Loaded with backing but this reel is in mint condition with no sign that it has been fished. 12.6 ounces. Handsome silver anodized frame with black sideplates and classic S-style handle. Serial number 781 which is etched into the foot. The crankside plate and spool are ventilated. "Saracione" and "Mark V, 4 1/4", G&P, Made in the USA" etched into the faceplate. The drag is adjusted with small knob with 13-stop calibration. The drag itself is made out of oversized gear pawls and heavy springs with impressive stopping power for a G&P style drag design with a satisfyingly loud click as well.
