Based on the rtl9220dp chipset. supports uasp and trim. read speed is up to 1.8 gb/s at 20 gbps, 0.9 gb/s at 10 gbps, and 0.45 gb/s at 5 gbps. write speed is roughly half that. the cable is 33 cm long including the connectors, 26 cm without them. warning!!! the included hard (!!!) thermal pads are only 1.2 mm thick and do not make proper contact with the heatsink cover — be sure to buy soft 2 mm thermal pads instead. to the person who left a review from switzerland: this is a macbook issue. even the latest models do not support usb 3.2 gen 2×2 (20 gbps), despite supporting usb 4 (40 and 20 gbps).

Thank you for the quick response and careful packaging. As for this case, it’s a very user-friendly case in a way, as it can use two M.2 NVMe or SATA SSDs and can also form a RAID 0 or 1 configuration. It’s said to be USB-C 3.2 Gen 2, so I can expect a speed of at least 10Gbps. The manual states 20Gbps, so I’m hoping for a speed of around 1.8GB per second. There’s also a replicator (copy) function, but this time I plan to use it with an external SSD (4TB x 2) in RAID 0 (striping). Thank you very much.

I’ve tried so far with a m.2 sata ssd and the function and performance is as expected. i will test the compatibility with nvme when i have a drive available. the build quality is nice, solid metal and compact design, i like it.
