Excellent. It doesn’t heat up at all. Very good aluminum finishes, practical and the MagSafe works excellently. Points to consider, there is a little noise from the fan, so as you can notice, that’s why I have a separate microphone because if you record without a microphone, the phone probably only picked up a little bit of the fan noise. It drains the phone’s battery faster but it’s normal, meaning it has a fan and an SSD (which connects perfectly always, there are no problems, failures, or intermittency or disconnection ever, which is what is intended). A cable with good power is required to connect (so far, I’ve only used a 60w Ugreen one). Because with the one that comes with it, it’s not enough power. Conclusion, the best on the market so far, offers what every filmmaker with a phone or camera needs. 💪🏻

Working faster and cooler than my old generic nvme hub (also bought from aliexpress)
Results as follows old one speed 840mb/s max and temperature with extra aluminium heatsink 63c,
Blueendless speeds 1070mb/s and no heatsink 45c. The included thermal pads are 2 pieces one 1.5mm and 1mm the drives usually need more than 2 so you need extra . Also my drive is bare no heatsink no sticker so it needs 2mm thermal pads to make proper contact with the aluminium frame.
For extra cooling performance i installed a jeyi graphene copper heatsink – ultra thin 0.5mm direct on the drive and the 1.5mm upsiren thermla pads 24w/mk after it so there is contact with the aluminium frame of the blueendless . Results temps drops to 36c max after stress test 64gb with crystaldiskmark

I had large NVMe drives that were incompatible with the Steam Deck, this device is simply a lifesaver. Now I have a total of 2 SD cards of 2TB each and 2 NVMe drives of 8TB and 4TB = 16TB, and this is not the limit. Everything works with Linux, Windows, and Android. The PD turned out to be indispensable; I no longer need to specify the USB port on the Steam Deck and can connect a mouse and keyboard via a dongle. 4 and the HDMI port turn my Steam Deck into a regular console or desktop PC. The coating on the metal is matte and scratch-resistant; all scratches can be wiped off with a finger – it’s magic.

All metal case is well finished. came with lots of screws and a couple of standoff for your nvme drive. easy install. drive will needed to formatted for exfat instead of ntfs if you plan to use this with your smartphone. works fine with my s25ultra for video.

This thing is way cool! worked perfectly with my single-sided fat32 formatted nvme drive. took a second or two for my phone to show the drive, but it showed up! i was also able to use the sd/tf card slot at the same time, and was able to charge my phone via the usb-c charging port on the side. the internal fan is quiet. overall a very handy lil device!

Perfect. The only thing I noticed is that if you use a large 2280 NVMe SSD (the largest size), the iPhone won’t record because it doesn’t meet the energy efficiency requirements of the Dock (in this case, you need to power the Dock with an external power source, and then it will record). However, if you use the NVMe 2230, it usually records the iPhone’s ProRes log internally on the SSD without the need for external power.
