please pay attention to the following matters when using the offline clone function.
1.back disk(B) must be larger capacity(eliminate space loss) than front disk(A),
Plug in identify Source Disk(front port) and Target Disk(back port)
Connect power supply and switch on power. (make sure that the USB cable is disconnected)
2.To avoid your disk file damaged,please don’t stop the device when it’s under clone function.
3.When copy disk,please make sure disk B is empty,or the former file in disk B will be loss.(if disk B has file before,and just want to copy from disk A,please don’t use offline clone function,just copy and paste on computer)
4.When offline copy the disk,please don’t connect the computer,if connect the computer,disk will be under reading,can not support copy(device heating is normally,as big hard disk operate will be hot)
5.if the clone is interrupted ,you need to restart the device and clone again.

Does exactly what it says on the tin. the hdd’s need to be exactly the same size for the offline coy to work. but it did work and managed to clone my hdd!

Very fast delivery. The product seems to fully correspond to the description. A surprise is that instead of the expected usb-c to usb-c cable, i found a universal usb-c to usb-a/c cable in the kit.
Supports sata hdd/ssd and m.2 nvme ssd in separate slots. As for m.2 sata (ngff) ssd support in the m.2 slot (front slot a), i am not sure – win10 detects the disk, but as uninitialized and wants to format it, which would destroy the data on the disk, if any. Unfortunately, i didn’t have an empty m.2 sata (ngff) ssd available to try formatting. A possible solution if necessary is the use of a sata iii to m.2 sata (ngff) ssd adapter of the required size – checked and works! It is important to consider the thickness of the m.2 sata (ngff) ssd (especially if there is a heat stick) so that when mounted directly on the adapter, it can fit properly into the sata hdd/ssd slot (back slot b).
A very useful device, i am very satisfied and highly recommend the product and the seller.

It would be a great asset if the manufacturer had a software to enable the imaging of a laptop ssd to an external ssd. however, all specifications were dully met.
